Dr Malikov is Tatar, one of nationalities in Russia that has adopted both Western and Eastern cultures and became a bridge between Europe and Asia. He was born into a family of doctors, in a little valley of Northern Himalayas in the Central Asia, the Southern region of Uzbekistan.  Using herbal remedies in everyday life was a common practice in the place where he was growing up. Since young age Damir was introduced to many medicinal herbs, taught meditation and the energy healing techniques, medical ethics, psychology and philosophy of helping people. He has developed fascination with healing and the holistic approach to the body’s imbalances.

Damir has been an enthusiastic student and at the age of seventeen he graduated at the top of his class from Tashkent Technology Lyceum with a Nursing Degree, which required a successful completion of a two-year internship at the Mirzo-Ulugbek Military Hospital’s Surgery Department. Three years later, Damir received his Associate’s degree from a Santa Monica College in Los Angeles. In 2007 he acquired his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the University of California, in San Diego, where he also had an opportunity to work at the Immunology Research Laboratory, of the Biological Science Department. During that time Damir have learned a great deal about the bio-chemistry of our bodies’ defense mechanisms. It was also then, that he had made the final decision to become a holistic physician.

“I have realized that our body in health and disease is a whole and not just the sum of signs and symptoms. All of our organs and systems are tightly interconnected on all levels: physical, biological, and chemical, which function together as one complicated mechanism, in a complete union of the body, spirit and mind”

In 2008 Dr Malikov started his rigorous four year training of Integrated Eastern and Western Medicine at Dongguk University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a sister branch of a prestigious Korean university. The program combined daily rounds at the local Oriental Medicine Clinic with a comprehensive curriculum that included mentoring from some of the best doctors in the field of diagnostics, human anatomy and physiology, Easter and Western internal medicine, pathology and their integration, in addition to herbal medicine formulations and other natural remedies. He has discovered many alternative ways of helping others reclaim their health and purpose in life and to treat various diseases that conventional medicine considers incurable. Furthermore, Damir firmly believes that the conventional Western and traditional Eastern medicines depend on each other, like Yin and Yang, to provide complete care every patients deserves.

“Oriental Medicine has given me the priceless knowledge of various natural remedies that I will carry on throughout my life, my practice, and into the world that knows very little of this precious ancient wisdom.”
